It is likely that you expect to see a “mission statement” here; perhaps even an extended rant about the Rightness of the Cause or the Convictions of the Writers that would move you to outrage or, well, whatever it is that you’re supposed to feel when confronted with the Deeply Held Beliefs of people that you don’t know and wouldn’t recognize if you met them in the corner of some shady bar entirely immersed in a seriously competitive game of pinball. So who are you kidding? If you’re reading this, it’s either because you’ve got some kind of axe to grind or you have a basically pathetic need to have your Core Values validated. Either way, to paraphrase the immortal words of Flava Flav, we can’t do nothin’ for you, man.
But all the best with your various mental problems.
You want six dollars for what?!
Core Values ? All I did was check out who the blog belongs to. Why would these writers be in a shady bar (of all places) playing pin ball (of all games) and that TOO competitively ? Makes no sense. Thank you for the wishes at the end though. I wish you the same.
Hahaha……hilarious and hurtful all at once. Well done!
Kate, I would so love to be in a shady bar where you’re engaged in competitive pinball. Nice post, by the way.
Your Facebook Sucks post got me here. I write a blog too and I like it when people check out my “About” page, especially before they ask me “hey, what’s your blog about?” Ummm….did you read my About page??? *sigh* but I digress…
Love the FB article and hope to come back often to read more stuff. Feel free to pop on over to my blog and even leave a comment if you’d like – http://www.miasaysyes.wordpress.com.
